“There is an almost unbelievable goodness that helps us face the fierce unknown.”

A friend heard that yesterday and shared it today. I read it this morning, and thought about the small-but-mighty dogwood in my front yard, gift from another friend, a growing, rooted, strong, beautiful part of this new life.

Now, instead of walking through this new day, I am sitting in my kitchen, door flung open to the morning, the mockingbirds and cardinals and jays, the softened light, the breeze, and I am flooded, mind overflowing with remembered grace.

Sad and broken is no match for kindness and wisdom, and unexpected gifts from the heart.

Easter.

Your ability to see light and beauty and love the birdsong is testament to the healing.  I am so glad, and still so honored to share your journey through these posts.

I love you, Vicki.  Walk through yet another beautiful day! Wendy
